We thank all who have sent memorials for their loved one listed below.

Irene Fritz (d. 7/22/08)
Andrew Lutenski (d. 8/15/07)

Howard Stone
Stephany Wolfe (d. 8/16/08)

Our Emmaus family is still in shock. On Saturday morning, Aug. 16th, we found one of our women dead in bed. The following Wednesday, Stephany W., a beautiful 36-year-old was buried. Stephany seemed so full of life, had great dreams for her future, had enrolled at Delta College, and looked forward to being reunited with her children. Stephany had gone out job-hunting the afternoon before she died. (Stephany’s own words can be read in our June newsletter, front page.) As we grieve, we thank God for sharing Stephany with us, and send much love and sympathy to her two children and family. Stephany’s picture now hangs on our memorial wall, along with the pictures of other Emmaus House women who now call Heaven, “home”.

Others in our extended families have also gone to God.
Sister Marietta’s aunt, Irene Fritz, and her cousin, Betty Ann Egler
Blenda B.’s brother, Vese
Sally E.’s aunt, Bonnie
Nicole A.’s father, and
Nataska A.’s aunt.

Death is so hard for us who are left behind, but to those who enjoy God “face to face” it is an exciting, exhilarating full life.
