The Emmaus House Community Resource Distribution Center will be located within the residential neighborhoods of east side Saginaw. The resource center will be constructed on the same property as the Emmaus House headquarters. Emmaus House already receives a large amounts of donated food, clothing, household items, and furniture. Volunteers currently process, organize, and distribute donations to between 90 and 100 people each week. Emmaus House does not serve only those residing in east side neighborhoods. The site is located near several bus stops so it is also accessible to those who use public transportation. Emmaus' policy is to offer donations free of charge to anyone in need, regardless of where he or she resides.
